Our proposal aims to rejuvenate Stanmore Towers by introducing nine new high-quality homes while enhancing the overall aesthetics of the building. A key improvement includes the removal of the unsightly phone masts from the roof, contributing to a more visually appealing skyline. A computer generated image of the proposed building is shown above.
The development will feature a mix of 1, 2, and 3-bedroom apartments, achieved through the redevelopment of the existing 8th floor and the addition of two new storeys. Additionally, a carefully designed five-storey set-back rear extension is planned on the east side of the building, ensuring a harmonious integration with the existing structure.
Our proposals focus on enhancing and revitalising the building by retaining and upgrading the majority of its structure. A thoughtful design approach and careful selection of materials will help minimise environmental impact.
The new homes will be built to meet modern energy efficiency and sustainability standards. Additionally, the street-level surroundings will be improved with high-quality landscaping and enhanced lighting, to create a more welcoming and attractive environment. These improvements will ensure that the building will retain its character, and remain in keeping with the local area.
